Quarantine Staycation Dallas TX 2020-21

This photographic series is close-up documentation of rotting wood pieces. I use found tree remnants collected from "bulk trash" from a previous project and use a creative photographic process to transform them into majestic Logscapes. In making Quarantine Staycation, I kept to the guidelines set out by the CDC at the time and only used wood samples that were stored inside and photographed in my home studio.
